 | | Youth play a trust game to build group dynamics | Why NABI? The Native American Bahá’í Institute (NABI) needs a number of enthusiastic, independent and responsible volunteers the year round. Volunteers must be High School graduates of at least 17 years of age. Full-year service periods are preferable; however, it is possible to serve for shorter terms, for example, over the summer. Service at NABI is a unique opportunity to be immersed in an Indigenous American culture, as NABI is located on the Navajo Nation in Arizona. However, this can also bring challenges with it, as the Navajo Nation, like many Reservations, is less developed than many other parts of America. As One of the Team We welcome all with love, dignity and courtesy, while either on duty or not, whether serving as permanent employees or temporary volunteers. We are called upon to reflect a loving spirituality in all that we do and say. |
